WELCOME TO
BROOKLYN PEDIATRIC SOCIETY

The Brooklyn Pediatric Society is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization representing pediatricians and pediatric health care professionals in Brooklyn, NY. Established in 1979.

We are members of New York Chapter 2, District 2, of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Yearly events are held from July 1st–June 30th, when we discuss academic, legislative, and practice-related topics of interest. These meetings may be sponsored by hospitals, pharmaceuticals, or other organizations and provide CME credits. Networking opportunities, CME credits, and great dinners are just a few benefits of membership. Over the years, society has provided opportunities to enrich the knowledge of pediatric health care professionals, including those in academics and private clinical practice. With dedication and passion, we promote programs that can uplift our members' social and mental well-being. We advocate for legislative issues that would benefit the welfare and social health of Brooklyn children. We provide avenues for social interaction of all health care professionals (including trainees) working in the interest of pediatric patients. Moving forward, we hope to increase our capacity to provide greater opportunities to optimize the physical, social, and mental health of children in Brooklyn.
